Wine Review: Stolpman Vineyards La Cuadrilla 2021

Meet the 2021 Stolpman Vineyards ‘La Quadrilla’, another AMAZING weeknight wine under $30. We first encountered Stolpman Vineyards by way of their Love You Bunches Rose, which everyone in LA seems to be drinking these days. What drew us to La Quadrilla was the grape blend. Riffing on the traditional GSM Rhône blend, they replaced meaty Mourvèdre with lighter, more perfumed Sangiovese. The result? A captivating medium-bodied wine bursting with dark and red fruits, bright acidity and minerality and a long spicy finish. You’ll want to pick up a bottle (or 12) of this one.
